Sunday July 7th

Here are some photos of the day when over 2,200 people came.

Come along and see the permanent Timeline Exhibition of 700 years of Smithills Hall’s history, situated in the old kitchen area . Follow the timeline from 1335 to the present and read the fascinating story of the people and events influencing the history of Smithills and beyond. This display is worth a visit. Entry to the exhibition and other areas of the Hall is free.

Volunteer guides will be able to give  guided tours to this historic Hall, when it is open to the public. Please ask at the Entrance Hall Reception Desk for information about tour availability. [See also home page]
